Aneta Weronika Gajos – Freelance Artist. Since December 2017, a member of the International Association of Watercolor Artists (IWS). Founder and President of IWS Polska. From January 2019, Master Member of IWS, and from December 2019, member of the Management Board of IWS Globe. Organizer and co-organizer of exhibitions and competitions signed with the IWS trademark.
Already as a young artist, she achieved success, winning art competitions. Her paintings are appreciated by many recognized Polish and foreign watercolorists. Thanks to this, she is invited to participate in watercolor festivals around the world (e.g. Switzerland, Turkey, Indonesia, India), where she presents her skills while painting live (live demonstrations). Her paintings are in the collections of Polish and foreign collectors and art lovers, including in Great Britain, USA, China, India, Singapore, Germany and Canada.
She creates his paintings mainly in watercolor - the most difficult painting technique. Her works are primarily an artistic reflection of reality. As she says herself - photography is a realistic representation of reality. The main subjects of her paintings are botanical motifs and landscapes. Her work is always inspired by direct contact with nature, which she seeks wherever she is.
Since 2018, he has also been involved in workshop graphics. She is most fond of dry engraving and linocuts and successfully implements artistic projects in this techniques. In 2021, she also began to create in serigraphy (screen printing). She is an instructor of this artistic technique that belongs to graphic arts.
In her career, she had dozens of individual and group exhibitions, including many foreign exhibitions and art festivals. In 2021, she was invited to watercolor festivals, e.g. to Portugal (Santa Cruz) or South Korea. Unfortunately, the pandemic situation in the world has thwarted most travel and organizational plans. And at the end of 2021, she was invited as a juror of the competition organized in Izmir, Turkey. In 2022, she has already received an invitation to participate in the largest watercolor festival in India, which is to take place at the end of March. In May 2022, she participated as a juror in the International Watercolor Festival and Golden Brush Competition, which took place in Izmir, Turkey. And in July she took part in a biennial organized by IWS in Varna. In September 2022, at a special invitation, she participated in the International Watercolor Meetings in Santa Cruz, Portugal.
Palazzo brand ambassador from 2021. In 2021, she started working on the projects "Piękno Kobiet" („Women’s beauty”) and "Icons of pop culture", in which she refers to and presents female figures. In 2022 she was annouced the ambassador of the PapierArtyczny.pl brand.
For several years, it has been supporting various types of charity and social campaigns, both domestic and foreign. Currently, she supports the action of building a social primary school in Rybnik.
In her free time, she runs art workshops.
